Once again, the Christmas season is as vibrant as ever in Vietnam. Thousands of tourists have headed to the country to spend the holiday season, with hundreds of tourist groups taking holiday tours to Vietnam.

2023 Recap:

According to vietnamplus.vn, foreign tourists to Vietnam exceeded 11.2 million in the first 11 months of 2023, which is 3.8 times higher than the same period last year, according to the General Statistics Office. Of that, more than 300,000 Australians visited Vietnam or went on Vietnam tours.

However, this number is still lower than the Pre-Pandemic number. In 2019, Vietnam received 18 million international arrivals, up from 2.1 million in the year 2000.

Vietnam Tourism Officials says that while the 2023 number is lower compared to a few years ago, we are seeing a speedy recover and a promising trend to improve Vietnam Tourism.
